Ed Yeats is very active in our community. Some of the contributions Ed makes are:
Ed Yeats is the event coordinator of the Annual Easter Egg Hunt that is attended by over 1,000 Roxborough children and parents.
Ed Yeats is elected and serves as the Community Member of the School Advisory Council for both Roxborough Elementary Primary and Secondary schools and Ranchview Middle School.
Ed Yeats is a charter member of One Roxborough, an organization that communicates, coordinates and provides leadership to improve the lives of the Residents of the Greater Roxborough Area.
Ed Yeats most recently was named as one of 15 active members selected from across Douglas County to participate on the Douglas County Sheriff’s Public Safety Advisory Committee; an organization that reviews policies within the Sheriff’s Department and assists current and future needs to ensure present levels of public safety are maintained.
Ed Yeats is the organizer of the Annual Community Garage Sale Day that is always the first weekend following the celebration of Cinco de Mayo in downtown Denver. Over 300 residents participate every year. If you are in the Village, just set your stuff out at your home. If you are in Roxborough Park, bring your stuff to the main parking lot by the gazebo at Main Park in Roxborough Village. Ed Yeats is a founding Mentor of the RatPak, a youth group made up of 10 to 16 year olds in the 80125 zip code area that give back to our community and that make a difference – and they have fun too!
